PFS Standard, Terms and Conditions and IB updates June 2025

Introduction

PFS launched a public engagement on proposed changes to its Standard, Terms and Conditions and supporting Information Bulletins. The purpose of the proposed changes is to increase the level of detail, enhance the methodology and processes including an increased alignment with the direction of the UNFCCC Article 6.4 Supervisory Body recommendations, and provide a greater degree of transparency in order to improve the overall quality of the Standard. This includes the addition of information as well as the  removal of redundant clauses and details.

We invited feedback from the public to ensure that the changes that are proposed are clear and have the impact that they are intended to achieve.

The consultation period was from 16 June to 7 July 2025 with all required feedback to be received by 11:59pm on 7 July NZT.
